My name is Saji Thomas, and I have been serving in Christian ministry for more than four decades. My passion is to see people encounter Jesus, grow as disciples, and live out their faith in everyday life. Through missions, training, or community outreach, my desire has always been to love God and love my neighbor.
I was born and raised in Kerala, India, in a devoted Christian family. My parents taught me the importance of faith, prayer, and serving others. After graduating from Bible College in 1987, I began serving in missions across India and Nepal. In 1988, I completed my Discipleship Training School (DTS). And in 1999, I completed the School of Evangelism and Pioneering (SOEP) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM)
I married Sheena in 1990 and have served together in ministry ever since. Over the years, God has allowed us to serve as pastors, evangelists, church planters, and YWAM leaders in India, Uganda, Suriname, and the United States. We have pioneered ministries in Kochi, India, Kampala, and Luwero, Uganda. Helping establish communities that continue to serve and disciple others.
At YWAM San Francisco, we are passionate about discipleship, community outreach, and equipping believers to live out the Gospel through compassion, hospitality, and practical service. We believe loving our neighbors is one of the ways to show the love of Christ.
Sheena comes from a Mar Thoma Christian family in Kerala and completed her DTS in Chennai in 1998. Together we have two children, Kesia and Keran. Kesia is married to Nelson, and they are blessed with three wonderful children.
It is a privilege to serve alongside people from around the world who share a passion for God’s Kingdom. Thank you for taking the time to learn about our ministry. We would be honored to have you pray for us, encourage us, and partner with us as we continue serving wherever God leads.
